Judging begins at 11:30. People's Judging begins shortly after. Winners to be announced around 12:30 p.m.

No entry fee!

1. All desserts must be prepared and baked by person submitting the recipe. Desserts must be made with fresh, canned or frozen pumpkin.
2. Contestants must be at least 15 years of age.
3. Enter Dessert
1. Bring your dessert to Sargent’s North before 11:30 a.m. on the day of the contest. The person running the Contest will have the final say on acceptability of desserts.
2. Fill out registration from.

• Acknowledge that the entered desserts become the property of Sargent’s. Pans will be given back at the end of the day, but they should be clearly labeled.
• If you are a winner, you give your permission to have your photo taken during the announcement ceremony and have it used in promotional materials.

1. A copy of your recipe is necessary with your registration. It may be used in a future Sargent’s Cookbook.
2. All contestants will receive recognition and a coupon for entering.

1. Judging will start at about 12:00 p.m.
2. A minimum of two judges will judge the entries.
3. Criteria

• Overall appearance
• Taste

1. Scoring

• Each judge assigns a numerical value (1-10 Best) in each criteria category, without consultation with the other judges.
• The dessert receiving the highest total numerical value is the winner.
• In the case of a tie, the judges will judge those desserts again.
• Winners will be announced after the judging is complete, which will be about 12:30 p.m.

1. Dispersal of Desserts
   1. All desserts will be available for customers and competitors to taste after the prizes have been awarded. Yummy!
