Tool Sharpening

Drop off your garden tools and pruners at Sargent’s on 2nd or Sargent's North. Gramstad/Stevenson Sharpening Service will be sharpening your tools and getting them ready for the garden. Drop off anytime during business hours. Your tools will be ready to pick up on Saturday, September 18 at the location they were dropped off at. In this fall gardening seminar, we will go through our gardens to show you what to do in your garden. From pruning your trees to cutting back your perennials, we will show you some of the essential steps for your garden to master the Minnesota winter. Dress for the weather, we’ll be outside. Want to explore deeper into the Sargent’s forest? Come and venture into our 40 acre nursery, where we will point out several trees we are growing, including maples, oaks and Kentucky Coffee trees. Fall color will be showing up throughout the nursery, and we’d love to show you around. (We will be walking for approximately 1.5 miles.)
