Spicy Cider Tea

1 Orange
1 Lemon
2 cinnamon sticks
3 whole cloves
4 cups water
¼ cup light brown sugar
4 family size tea bags
3 cups apple cider

Cut several layers of cheese cloth
Cut 3 1” pieces of lemon and orange peel
Wrap peels and spices in cheese cloth and tie shut
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and add spice bag,
brown sugar and simmer for 10 minutes. Then add tea bags
and let steep for 5 minutes, off the heat.
Remove the spice bag and tea bags.
Stir in cider and juice from the orange and lemon.
Heat and serve. Can be held in a crock pot.

Makes 8 cups.
