On a recent Friday night, I was pleased to be working on a peaceful evening when a wonderful object floated just overhead. The owner of a hot air balloon put his balloon in the sky with some eager passengers to enjoy the sunset dusk. Standing in our parking lot, I could hear the gas burning, and I could see the excited passengers waving happily at me. The brightly colored balloon was so close to me. After a few moments staring at the balloon, I fired my camera upon it. My camera just happened to be on me as I was taking a few pictures of some recent displays we set up near the pond. The evening at the garden center was filled with peace and tranquility as the balloon past by so gently. Being afraid of heights, I am not sure I can experience a ride in a hot air balloon. Experiencing the balloon from the ground as I did on that Friday night, could not have been any better. I waved excitedly to the passengers as they floated by and looked forward to my next balloon sighting!
