Rain, snow, or cold a gardener’s work is never done. Well, it seems that way. I’ve been working heavily in my yard the last few weeks to get the last few things done before I break out the sewing machine for the winter. Dividing perennials, transplanting plants, and this weekend, I’m digging holes for a number of trees I am planting in my yard. Then onto putting the last touches to the garden for spring color, planting crocus and tulips. When finished with that, I’m going to try to head to 2nd Street to get my spruce tops for decorating pots by my front porch. Every year, they feature some new cool things for decorating, so I’m anxious to stop in and check out their ideas. Even those of us at the north store like to peek in and see what they’re up to.
